Artefact transformed in Sydney in 2016

I think I should start revisiting my PGY (pre-gap-year) experiences with the exhibition just before.

It was fun.

It wasn't the first time I wanted to do a cross over with performing arts. But it was certainly the first time someone said yes.

ICACM is a great local business that promote cultural diversity in Australia media. (WebLink soon)

Loved most:

Great and positive exposure for local talents 📣 United people with similar interest

Presented a fresh approach for people to enjoy the art to engage with the artists😍

Hate most:

Some of the artists snubbed Art2Public and noted the venue on their online media; confusing their own supporters 🙄 luckily we made some tickets available at the door but I'm still baffled by why some would make it tricky for their own show...

Artefacts: Stories About Artists Exhibition 26 June - 11 July 2016 Art2Public at blank_space Surry Hills Art2Public and iCACM held a great initiative for the first-time event crossing over both visual artists' and performers' works alike. Artefacts is a storytelling exhibition and a collaborative effort between artists and the public, bringing together some diverse and compelling cross-cultural works by visual and performing artists from two seemingly disparate but very distinctive disciplines. Each artist presents their personal life journeys from different perspectives. This exhibition is curated and initiated by Sydney curator Arthur Chan, whilst the original exhibition was held in 2014 at Melbourne's Chinese Museum. Sydney's 2016 exhibition celebrates the return of respected artists Anthony Sawrey and Godlieve Mols, with an introduction of gorgeously dynamic performers courtesy of interculture Casting and Management (ICACM).
